Hey everyone, I have a quick question. Is it possible for Campcaster to be a fully automated system? Meaning that if I don't specify a playlist for it to play, it will play something random?

It would be a useful safety feature that in the event of a scheduled
playlist failure, a series of random tracks was played from the storage
server. We have a wishlist ticket open for a 'smart playlists' feature
which might accomplish this:
However, if you just want to play a random audio file all the time,
there are simpler solutions than Campcaster, which is designed for a
radio station with human presenters or DJs. See the section 'A simple
radio' in the Liquidsoap documentation at http://savonet.sourceforge.net/doc-svn/quick_start.html

At the moment, we are reviewing all feature request and bug tickets in
advance of the next major version of Campcaster. So I'm afraid there is
no fixed date for this 'smart playlists' feature yet.
