[campcaster-dev] Next release: change of plans

    I just had a talk with Sava. The next Campcaster release, formerly
    known as 1.1.2, will become 1.2 and the deadline is January 15th. This
    deadline is imposed from the outside (Sava or Doug will fill us in on
    the details of that), so anything extra needs to be cut. The main
    change is that RDS and single sign-on (with Campsite) needs to be
    implemented. Sorry for this sudden change - yell at Sava for that one.

    Mark: is it possible to move to gstreamer-0.10 by then? Please look for
    any way you can do this by that deadline (cutting out optimizations for
    SMIL or other things - just bare-bones if need be).

    We're going to use the czech RDS hardware for RDS.

    I've moved a bunch of things out of the release to allow for extra time
    to implement the extra features.

    Roberte,

    I have tightened the deadline for the purposes of the radio package
    implementation. If something has to be cut, we'll cut it to meet the
    deadline. The features that are cut now will be pushed over to the next
    release. So ultimately we will get there. I wish it were otherwise, but
    reality is such.
