    I was also unable to install that version of campcaster on Ubuntu 8.04, but
    due to an dependency problem.

    Good if you are now fine with the development version. New packages are
    already made for Karmic and Lucid:

  • Okay - I'm basically back where I started from. Whether I install from the .deb packages, from the repository, or compiling from source, I'm hitting the wall at the exact same problem each time: campcaster-scheduler cannot 'log in'. I don't know what it's trying to 'log in' to, nor do I know with what credentials it assumes it is to do so.

    All I need to know is that. If you can tell me that, I can probably fix the problem by creating the necessary login account on whatever it is it's trying to log into.

    That's all I need.

    Sebastian, what can you tell me?
