Our Campcaster on-air

    All though we have some problems to sort out, and some setups to finalise - KyogleRadio (NorthernNSW,Au)is tentatively on-air, via campcaster. We are only a "narrowcast" station, and therefore a small broadcast footprint and a low-key setup, , so a few hiccups won't hurt us (they will only make us stronger!).
    As mine and Kaycee's posts say we have either permission/timeout problems during playlist opening and closing, but they are a workaround-able.
    My next problem is convincing our network tech to allow the appropriate access to our box, behind his server/firewall he wants to set up a vpn, I beleive he just needs to allow the server/firewall to route http requests to our scheduler box. If anyone can help me show him the simplest and safest way to allow public access, from outside the network to http://(Scheduler box)/campcaster I would be very appreciative. I like the idea of investigating flumotion, next.
