    Hi guys please i and a freind have a space for a wesite but but how to
    install campware if we are not root any time we try it , it says

    Preparing install scripts...uname: not found
    uname: not found
    /mnt/b0249c83/www/news/campsite/install_conf/global_functions: 42: Syntax
    error Bad substitution
    the Website will be at www.Netfirms.com
    Please help us to install this superb and powerfull CMS.

    What distribution is he using?

    Hi Paul,

    there was only one message from Berthe till now, so all what we know about
    him is in the message below.
    The only way to get more info is to ask Berthe - directly on his email.

    Hi Berte,

    It seems that your hosting provider doesn't give you access to the basics of the system and Campsite needs that for install purposes. The only advice I can give you is to change your hosting provider. It will be impossible to install Campsite under these conditions.
