Thanks for the comments about Campcaster. We're right in the middle of
trying to get the 1.4 beta released, so your interest comes at a good
time.
I'm not a developer - I generally am a beta tester, chief cook and bottle
washer - but there are two things you might consider - one is whether you
have installed libicu - Campcaster requires libicu 3.4 or higher. The
reason I ask about libicu is because the localizations use that, and it's
caused us some grief recently because the Debian package uses the version
number in the package name (libicu34, libicu36, etc.).
The other question, though, is whether the installation works as is.
Judging from the make log, it looks like it built, but I don't know.
We really need someone with knowledge of Fedora to get involved; while we
have Ubuntu as our target distribution, we would really love to be able to
have:
- RPMs
- An updated list of the dependencies relevant to Fedora (see the mega
apt-get command we have for the Development Environment version at http://code.campware.org/projects/campcaster/wiki/DevelopmentEnvironment. An equivalent 'yum install' statement would be most excellent.
- Fedora-specific instructions and documentation
I hope this at least gives you some ideas about what's going on. I also
hope someone else might have some ideas about what to do with your error
message.
Best regards,
douglas
