Re: [campsite-support] Re: Internal out of range error: invalid publication alias campsite.unixworks
  • Hi,

I think there are quite a few people on the list here who have been
exactly in your shoes. But I'm convinced that the payoff in terms of what
you can do with Campsite will definitely be worth the effort.

As for template language, you might want to take a look at the sample
templates created by the team at Media On Web that are also available on
SourceForge; even if you don't use the designs, they're useful for
    understanding the language in action.

You can get the sample templates here.

    http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=66936&package_id=65091

Another thing to remember is that you when you preview an article, you can
also see if the parser returns any errors in your templates. That's been
particularly helpful for me. It's not entirely obvious in 2.4, but look
for the magnifying glass icon, which opens the preview window.

It's also worth spending a bit of time looking at the manual, especially
    to learn template language.

    Hope this helps,

NEVERMIND...I feel like such a DOOF.

Apparently, in my efforts of installing, figuring it out, then
re-installing, I somehow got it corrupted. So...everything was deleted,
then re-installed, slowly, carefully, from scratch.

    It now works...

Disregard. Now all I have to do is figure out the template formatting
feature, which should take about 2 years to figure out, right? Wink))
