I've setup a Campcaster machine as a playout system for a local show
that the radio station I work at will be attending. I have about 700
odd songs loaded and everything seems to be working okay (apart from a
couple of crashes and errors when building playlists).
Now I loaded a few pre-recorded links on to the machine but it turns out
the names needed changing. I went into the web interface and removed
these individually. I got a message saying they were in use but they
then appeared to be deleted.
I then tried to batch import a few of the new links but they are now
coming up as already being in the database despite having a different
name. I was wondering is there any way of deleting these audio files
from the database manually? (and also from the machine).
Ta,
Rob

There isn't a mass delete tool available as of yet, but I could see how
that could be useful.
I know that in the development environment version you can reset the
storage server completely, but I don't think that'll work in the
'official' version. I'm not sure if there's a lot of material you could
stand to lose if you uninstall/reinstall; one workaround might be to
export the playlists you've created if there are a lot, and then reimport
the remaining files on a clean install using the mass import script.
Hope this helps,
douglas
