Sorry, Rob... our package repository was messed up. I fixed it, and it
should work now. Remember to use the correct release name in
    /etc/apt/sources.list: one of

    deb http://code.campware.org/ubuntu dapper main
    deb http://code.campware.org/ubuntu edgy main
    deb http://code.campware.org/ubuntu feisty main

depending on where you are trying to install.

  • Hi there,

I'm trying to install campcaster on a fresh ubuntu 7.04 system on a pc but it
stopped after an error warning. I followed all the steps in the campcaster
manual, neverthenless after I typed in

    sudo apt-get install campcaster-libs campcaster-station campcaster-studio

    the following came:

    Reading package lists... Done
    Building dependency tree
    Reading state information... Done
Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
    campcaster-station: Depends: campcaster-libs (= 1.13.24) but
    1.2.0-1feisty1 is
    to be installed
    E: Broken packages

As being a newbie in installing linux I would be very happy if anyone
    could help
    me with this.

    Greetings from Hamburg,
    Martin

This is a rare case of an error message being correct. Smile The package
is broken; we'll try to fix it as soon as possible. Thanks for
reporting this bug. You can check the status of the bug here:
