LiveSupport 1.0.1 works with PHP 4.x. What is the exact error you get?

as for the minimum hardware requirements, you're right - so far it's
been more-or-less working on all sorts of hardware we've installed it
on. but maybe your 9 year old machine will be the one that's too old for
it
OK thanks for the information, I didn't think to look in the tarball, might be a good idea to put that documentation in the on line "manual" as I'd guess most "customers" don't want to delve into the detail of compiling their own and just want to install the software. I assume you want LiveSupport to be used by non Linux developers!
I will install PHP4 later this weekend.
I know I am pushing the bounderies with this old system, but its a good learning tool!
