Subject: [campsite-list] How to install campsite on RedHat Linux

Is anybody interested to help me with installing Campsite on my webpage.

    I taked hostin at:

Dual Xeon 2.4 GHz, 2 GB RAM
    RedHat Enterprise Linux 3.0
    Apache

But it is hosted server, so I dont know how to install. For example when I
wants to isnatll mambo or joomla I copy forlder and run install.php file.

I tried to copy campus folder and to run install.sh from internet explorer
but without any success, because that is not procedure.

if somebody have time and will to help me with detailed information how to
install campsite, it would be nice and big help to me.

I am not advance in these things.

  • You will need SSH access to the server.

Please see this page in the manual for installing as a non-root user:
    http://code.campware.org/manuals/campsite/2.4/index.php?id=135

Let us know if you have any trouble with getting it to work!
