Hi all,
Ferenc, Tomas and Sebastian have been working hard to address many of the
issues with the packages, and the builds that are available now are quite
good. I would like to ask you to try these out and report any bugs you may
have with them, paying special attention to program crashes and segfaults
(I've caught a few of these).
Ferenc tells me we have a new set of package builds (Saturday, 13 Aug
15:24 CET). I've downloaded them, and so far they look like the most
stable, most trouble-free builds we've had so far.
Once we get a better idea of the major pre-release bugs, we'll start to
prepare the final release checklist. But we're close. We're real close now
to the 1.0 release.
