[livesupport-dev] autoconf-style environment merged to main branch

    I've just merged the autoconf-style environment to the main branch. see
    the updated gettingStarted and installation documentation on how to deal
    with this environment (it's not that different from the old one)

    I had conflicts during the merge on two files:

    modules/htmlUI/var/ui_conf.php
    modules/storageServer/var/install/install.php

    this is due to the fact that Sebastian has changed them in both
    branches. it would be nice for him to make sure that the ones now in the
    CVS are the latest ones...

    as Sebastian is working on some nifty feature that would be nice to have
    in 1.0, and as Doug has said that no release without Debian packages,
    the release will slip until tomorrow.

    but nevertheless, this gives a brief review period for the new
    environment for those who're interested...
