Hi all,

I'd like to make a checklist of the open tasks before the 1.0 release.
I'll put out the ones I know about, and would like to invite you to add
your own comments or add the tasks necessary for the official 1.0 release.

- autoconf issues (Akos, Sebastian, Tomas)
- debian package builds (Akos), dependent on autoconf changes
- LS-Knoppix 1.0 (Michael), dependent on Debian packages,
Michael's changes to sound card configurator
- manual final pass (Doug, Sava, Robert, Micz)
- PR machinery (Micz, Doug)

As I understand it, open bugs that are not showstoppers should not be
included in 1.0; Ferenc for example has a lot of open tasks, and I'd like
to know which of those really have to be addressed for the 1.0.

What else am I missing?

For the live mode, the must-fix-for-1.0 bugs are
http://bugs.campware.org/view.php?id=914 (picking a new item from
the live mode window sometimes does not work) and
http://bugs.campware.org/view.php?id=928 (playlist in live mode
causes crash).
I'm working on them. There is also
http://bugs.campware.org/view.php?id=1229 (gstreamer takes a long
time to open a SMIL file)
which needs to be fixed for live mode to be usable; Akos is working on this.

realistically expect each of your tasks to be finished. Please don't pull

Well, LS is neither death nor taxes, and fixing a "sometimes does not
work" bug is always iffy; but for my two bugs (plus changelog) Monday
seems like a realistic deadline.
