  • Yes, you've created it!
I'am an italian user very interested to the progect, in particular because
I'am blind and the program has a web interface for remote controlling... and
this feature resolves all my problems!
infact some automation systems have a graphic interface that is unreadable
by screen readers, the web interface is super readable!
I can't install the software because I've got only a shell, but I hope than
anyone has installed it, so I can see a demo of the program...
Frans, thanks for contacting the italian forum!

  • Sure, we have http://62.44.9.210/htmlUI/ as a demo server. I will sen you
    login data to personally.

On a quick think about how to handle html UI without optical access, it
comes to my mind that we are using context menues for a lot of
functionality, and i am not sure if a screen reader does allow you to handle
it. For example after login there is the ScratchPad on the right side with a
list of clips. Clicking inside a row will open a menu to take several
    actions.

    Best,

  • Hi,

I put Sebastian's and my instructions (from earlier mails) in a new
file; it should probably go into the end-user documentation later.

It is available at the moment from
    http://netfinity-5.mdlf.org/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/*checkout*/livesupport/doc/userLocalizationInstructions.html
    its final location will be
    http://livesupport.campware.org/public_html/doc/userLocalizationInstructions.html
