    Hi,

    The big difference between the 1.0 release and the previous ones will be
    the use of GStreamer instead of Helix Player as our sound engine. In
    addition, there will be an end-user manual and an Installer/Demo CD powered
    by the Knoppix distribution of Linux.

    The switch from Helix to GStreamer has taken lead developer Akos Maroy
    longer than expected, but he is really pounding away at it, and it should
    be ready any day now...

    The best thing is to keep checking this mailing list/forum for news.
