Mostly according to schedule here; one unforeseen obstacle is
http://bugs.campware.org/view.php?id=1155, but it looks easy, and should
not take more than a day.

I managed to get delayed playing working, in an experimental setup. (two
audio files, each start after some silence, and play from a start to an
end point within the file, mixed on top of each other)

issues:

- still have to integrate this into a proper gstreamer element
- seeking is way off in gstreamer

I don't see it as an issue with queue-ing. if you simply put together a
filesrc ! mad ! alsasink element-queue, and seek on mad, it goes through
OK, but the result will not be where you told it to be
