What is the 'Helixplayer' correct way to include another smil document
inside a smil document?

So we have playlist 1 and playlist 2

playlist 2 should always be played after a sequence of playlist 1.

What element should be used to include playlist 2 into playlist 1.

A SMIL file is just another audio source, same as an mp3 or ogg file. Thus,

xmlns:rn = "http://features.real.com/2001/SMIL20/Extensions">

would be the normal SMIL. We had problems with the tag in Helix,
though, so we used tags with begin="..." attributes in the

import

You are my hero of the day... it seems by just adding those xmlns'es it
works.... Stil Helixplayer is one big memory consuming monster...

it seems that you don't want to include 2 into 1, but play 2 after one.
this could be achieved by a playlist that has both SMIL files in a
element. something like:
