    even though I couldn't finish our gstreamer player yet (I have issues
    with parallel playing timings), here's some background on gstreamer
    getting more grounds:

    Nokia announced the Nokia 770 Internet Tablet last week:

    which uses gstreamer, and an open source framework developed by Nokia:

    also, parallel to SummerCAMP, GUADEC (GNOME User and Developer European

    Did you ever looked at Ambulant player? I finally managed to compile
    it... and it seems to work better (in memory) then helixplayer. Oh yes
    it is a pain to compile the player... then again... you only need the
    library Wink
