I'd do the porting, if only I had a Mac Wink

  • If you are looking for some test hardware i found this ....

Remote access to POWER systems with new university-based programs
Open source developers can now build, test, and host their Linux
applications via no-charge remote access to POWER systems at the
University of Portland, the University of Augsburg, and Peking
    University.

    http://www-128.ibm.com/developerworks/linux/power/community.html#poweraccess

It's got to do with an IBM announce on Linux on POWER Open Source
    Developer Contest on

    http://www.linuxonpower.com/

    Are we gone win?

it's nice (also, don't forget the compile farm on SourceForge - they
also offer Linux/PPC and MacOS X).

but, the above is for Linux on PPC (not MacOS X), and it's quite hard to
hear the output of the soundcard from Peking Smile

    I have MacOS but it's 10.2, and Fink needs a least 10.3.
