[campsite-support] grrrr
  • connection refused (61).
    what in hell is 61, even if i know i tried at least 61 times to get rid
    of it?

    i even tried using just a plain html as a template in the issue
    configuration and it still came out the same way (issue preview).

    few questions:
    version is 2.3.0
    using short url option

    - you setup the issue, sec, article templates for particular issues. are
    they all required?
    - you setup sec and article templates in section configuration only if
    you want to use different from the ones you already used in issue
    configuration?
    - i'm working on a site with frames (don't ask). should be possible to
    use templates as frame source, no?
    - if someone already knows, here is another one: how do you transfer
    environment parameters from a frameset to particular frames and the
    other way around?

    thanks
    braja

    ps. 2.1.9 rocks

    for some reason main campsite does not accepted new instances and needed
    to be restarted.

    For template path URLs: through URLParameters
    For short URLs: some parameters can be passed through URLParameters: topic,
    subtitle parameters, list parameters

    See also the Print statement:
    - print language number
    - print publication identifier
    - print issue number
    - print section number
    - print article number

  • No.
    We tried, but it does not work:
    If home.tpl is a frameset and some frame uses src="/look/file.tpl" the
    display is empty and if I try to display frame source, i get empty file.
    While if I rename tpl to html, frameset starts to work.
    This is what I have ion Apache log:

    Negotiation: discovered file(s) matching
    request: /usr/local/campsite/www/cs_gpsartgate/html/look/vlevo.tpl (None
    could be negotiated)., referer: http://gpsartgate.mediaturtle.com/

  • By the way, if I remove PHP wrapper, this error will not apear, but I
    still get no output

  • How do you expect it to work with short URLs if you set the frame source to:

    src="/look/file.tpl"

    The parser does not accept /look in short URLs.

  • I have been getting an error in an email from a cron job regularly. It
    also occurs when I try to run 'gather' from a command line.

    The error is:
    gather: Get article: query: Table 'campsite.X' doesn't exist

    Any idea what to do to fix this?

    Thanks,
    Chris
  • Did anybody edit the database manually? Please open a database connection
    (type: mysql -u [user] -p campsite) and type:

    select * from Articles where trim(Type) = "";

    If you get a non-empty list it means somebody changed the articles table
    manually. Please restore the old database from the backup.
