I took another look at the early HTML, and I think the later versions =
of the menu bar work better, partially it's different in both color and =
size from the master panel and the other windows. I felt that the text =
was too small and the bar and menus not obvious enough; for me at least =
it didn't provide enough of a cue that it was indeed a menu bar.=20

But if I understand Nadine correctly, the reason she changed the =
pulldowns was so that they would be compatible with literally all modern =
browsers; there was a problem with IE on the Mac not displaying the =
pulldowns correctly, which she addressed by changing the pulldowns from =
variable to fixed length.=20

Seeing as I liked Nadine's first menus implementation a little better, =
I'm _almost_ in support of the first ones, even if we lose a bit of =
cross-browser, cross-platform functionality. What do you think?=20
