• Hi,

My name is Juan Manuel Triana. I have been the guy at charge for all the computing needs at Univalle Estèreo, the Valle's University radio station in Cali, Colombia.

We have our station running on Linux since 2002, before that we used Linux to our streaming needs (Real Audio and Ogg Vorbis, currently).

All the production and recording is done in Linux, but we are missing an automation software under linux. We mainly have worked creating playlists and then running them in XMMS.

I would like to join initially as an alpha/beta tester (I have at least 3 or 4 systems with diverse distributions). I'm also developing a new project for an Internet radio station and I feel that we can provide people in this project for help (PHP/Pgsql/Mysql developers, graphical designers, Linux administrators, etc).

    Best regards,

    Juan M. Triana

    hi juan,

this sounds all really promising. not only for the beta testing side of
things, but we are also looking for people who might be interested in
translating the interface, as it's all multilingual... so there is always
    more Wink

right now we are in the final weeks of finishing the software. we will
announce the release candidate on this list - so you can grab it asap.

til then, subscribe yourself to the livesupport-dev list to make sure you
will be kept up to date.

    thanks,
