please take a look at the screenshots, first iteration of the master
    panel with Charles's design.

    some questions:

it seems that the now playing borders top center image was wrong, that
was went to me. it's a blank white image, but it just doesn't seem
    right, as you can see.

what I need input on, is the size of the panel, and the size of the
parts of the panel. from what was said so far, the masater panel should
occupy the whole of the top of the screen. thus, it's not fixed size,
but somehow I should find out the size of the screen, and adjust to that.

but, I still need guidelines on the sizes of the different parts of the
master panel. I guess some would be fixed (like the station logo), but
    some would have percentage values?

also, there should be some space between the buttons, I guess. how much?

  • Akos,

space between buttons should be 5px

I'll check the graphics and see what happened to the now
playing borders. That will be easy to fix.

I will send recommendations for sizes shortly. I imagined that the
elements would be aligned left and that the Now Playing Box could
expand, since that's the area that could benefit from variable
width, the other boxes don't need it.

Inside the Now Playing box I imagine the big buttons aligned to the
left, the now playing text and the time elapsed bar aligned left but
expanding to the right as the screen size increases, and the info/
    delete/xfade buttons staying
    aligned to the right.

I would also keep the station logo aligned to the right side of the
    screen at all times.

I'll send you some widths in pixels after I have a chance to look it
over. I'm going to probably go with the widths in the mockups.

By the way, is that a screenshot from the actual application you
    sent? That made my day.

    Charles
