[campsite-dev] Copying the Campsite manual to FlossManuals
  • Hi all,Sava and I have begun the task of copying the Campsite manual over to FlossManuals.net, which is a wonderful service because it combines online manuals with the ability to order real printed versions too. This is something where you can help: We need people to help both with copying over the existing material and also in improving what's there already. FlossManuals is based on a wiki, so it should be fairly easy to comprehend. All you have to do is create an account at FlossManuals and start editing Campsite there.(The manual isn't published yet, so you will probably have to do a search for it at the site.)I've started copying over Chapter 5 of the manual - Templating. I've gotten as far as 5.2: Templates In-Depth. I left out the numbering, assuming we'll be doing some editing and reordering, and have set up the <h1> for the main chapter titles (e.g. "5.") <h2> for second-level (e.g. "5.1"), <h3> for third-level (e.g. "5.1.1") and so on.The original Campsite manual is at http://code.campware.org/manuals/campsite/3.3You can edit over at FlossManuals at http://www.flossmanuals.net/writeLooking forward to hearing from you - and looking forward to your involvement.doug=============================================Media Development Loan Fund=============================================Douglas ArellanesHead of Research and DevelopmentCenter for Advanced Media--Prague (CAMP)Salvatorska 10, 110 00 Praha 1Czech RepublicTel: + 420 224 312 832, Fax: +420 224 315 419Mobile: +420 724 073 364Skype and Yahoo IM: dougiegyrohttp://www.campware.orghttp://www.mdlf.org=============================================http://www.mdlf.org============================================
