I am very glad to announce that after upgrading tinymce to latest
stable release 3.2.4.1 (finally) no more Word paste popup is needed.
Word plugin was entirely re-written, it now works much better and Word
content is automatically detected at pasting time directly inside the
editor textarea. This upgrade will be part of 3.3 release.
do you think I can use this version of tinymce (and maybee the article edit
scripts) in the 3.2 version too?
Best,
Sebastian

as Mugur s working on speedup campsite, it might be helpful to make use of
profiling functionality, which is implemented in Zend Development
Enviroment. Attached some screenshots to see what infomation can be
retrived.
I'm already using profiling, it's only that I use Kcachegrind.

You mean for the plugin scripts which need of an wysiwyg editor?
If yes, of course, it would be much better to standardize all through
campsite and have only one editor if possible.
I've tested this latest tinymce version quite a few and works fine.

the subject of my question was if the 3.3 article editor can by used in the
3.2 version, to avoid word code on an existing installation, as long 3.3 is
not released.

Sebastian

The 3.3 release should happen today, tomorrow latest. So this will become a
moot point
