[campsite-dev] CodeIgniter and CakePHP?

    Hi all,

    I seem to be hearing a lot these days about CodeIgniter and CakePHP, which
    apparently are attempting to do for PHP what Django does for Python.
    Specifically, they're trying to move away from the large, monolithic
    libraries like PEAR.

    I see that ExpressionEngine, for example, migrated to CodeIgniter earlier
    this year.

    Any opinions about it? Could this save you guys some time/effort/trouble?
