[campsite-dev] Template: select language/character set
  • When you upload a template file, do we still need the option to select
    the character set?

    interesting question...

i had troubles with using the topic functionality
if they contain whitespaces and/or german
    characters, i.e. umlaute
  • I suppose so, because the web designer may edit the template in a non-UTF editor and we need to convert it to UTF-8.

this conversion might bring the question up that i mailed earlier on

  • Hi Micz,

The topic names are stored in UTF-8 format in the database, so if you write them in UTF-8 format inside your templates too then it should work.
