Hi all,
last night I finished porting campsite 2.3.3 to FreeBSD.
The port was sent to FreeBSD ports tree, so right now I am only
polishing it and waiting for official comitter to accept it. However
this version works already.
For impatient:
1) unpack the attached port file to /usr/ports/www
2) cd /usr/ports/www/campsite
3) make install clean
4) set properly campsite_enable="YES" in /etc/rc.conf
5) run /usr/local/campsite/bin/create_instance with proper parameters
For patient: Wait for official port, it shall appear soon
Please note, that this port was tested on FreeBSD 6.0 and it was used
for new install only.
If you upgrade from 2.1 to this port, you can safely install it without
harming anything and the real upgrade is run by
create_instance --dbname
!!! Backup prior trying
If you upgrade from 2.2 and above, the upgrade should go through
automatically, so backup prior installing port.
Please try to report both problems and success, so that we know what
systems are you usinf to make future upgrades as simple as possible.
I found and fixed additional bugs, I believe those are last ones.
Fixed:
Autopublish function
backup_instance and other scripts manipulating instance archives
