[campsite-dev] Docmint bugs/feature requests?
  • Hi Micz

I'm not sure where to report bugs/feature requests for docmint... are we
going to use Mantis, or do you have another system you want to use?

I've just been using the online documentation for campsite, and I have
to say it's a great step forward, really nice to look at and to browse
around, and the search functionality is good too.

Just with the search though, I notice that searches are done using HTTP
POST. This causes some problems when trying to go back using the browser
back button to the list of search results. Could you change the search
functionality so that it uses HTTP GET instead? This is the standard
method - used eg by google; HTTP GETs are recommended in the HTTP RFCs
for any page which gives the results of read only database queries. This
small change will make search results more useful because it will be
simple to return to an earlier list of results and then click through to
    other items in the list.

    Cheers

    JP

paul installed trac for docmint. so we are using their ticket system.
docmint is also on subversion. so it became a bit of a test baloon for the
new cvs and code documentation standard of campware. you can find it here:
