[campsite-dev] advice for the young at heart
  • hello,

we have some money to spend over here. i wanted to find a hacker that
would make mnogosearch work with the campsite database (or any other
search), and also hack into analog log analyzer (or any other) to work
with campsite. now, sava is telling me to wait because of the changes
that will happen with the campsite, but i wonder whether a thing
developed now will be compatible with the new campsite versions. we're
    in hurry as always...

    what do you think?
    and,
    anyone wants to participate?

    thanks
    braja

Sounds interesting but I think I'm too busy. But...

Wondered why you chose Analog though. I've been using AWStats recently
and it's pretty nice. It has the ability to do these 'extra' reports,
pulling out part of the query string and referrer string for use in
aggregate statistics; it has a plug-in architecture as well. For example
I was able to log AdWord click-throughs from Google, and log what
products had been most often viewed in an online store. So take a look
at that maybe. It's pretty straightforward to install too.

And if you're in a hurry, maybe think about using Google to do your
search? Depends whether you're being indexed daily or less often I
guess, and whether all your content is public or not.
