Fix was part of 3.3.3 and it was not big. You can see changes in
http://trac.campware.org/campsite/changeset/9044
So, even though we do not recommend doing such modifications by hand,
you still can do it safely considering you are running 3.3.2.

I'm sorry, does this fix works also for switches inside an article type? because from what i see on the page you did link to me, this fix is for the embedded switches like homepage, sectione etc... but my problems are for switches made inside the article type....

You are right, that is a fix for built-in switches. For those added to
article types you have to take a look at
