I've been hacking campsite's install script for a while now to get it to play nice with my Gentoo Linux installation, but tonight I hit the wall with it not being able to locate the apache binary... this is what I'm looking at when running install:
STEP 1
Configuring campsite (this may take a while, please wait)...ERROR.
Read install_log for more information on configuration error.
Install_log:
Checking PARSER module dependencies...OK
*** Preparing PARSER environment...OK
Testing PARSER configuration...Could not find apache binary file.
While configuring, I give the values for the apache binary as follows:
Enter path_to_apache_binary (fill in the path to apache binary): /usr/sbin
Enter apache_bin_name (fill in apache binary name): apache2
This is where I'm stumped -- what seems to happen is that install launches "configure", but after that I lose track of where exactly and why the script crashes. Anyone who is more intimate with the configuration process has ideas?

Thanks for your help so far. The file you sent did the trick, and after
some more tweaking I've managed to complete the install. The CMS is now
running fine, and I have added a publication and articles, which have
been published.
