Installing SuperDesk on Ubuntu 16.04
  • Hello,

I am new to Superdesk. Trying to follow instructions at :

    https://www.superdesk.org/news/installing-superdesk-publisher

But I am getting so many errors and deprecated warnings.

    Warning #1

    DEPRECATION WARNING
Node.js 7.x is no longer actively supported!

    Warning #2
The directory '/home/xxxxx/.cache/pip/http' or its parent directory is not owned by the current user and the cache has been disabled. Please check the permissions and owner of that directory. If executing pip with sudo, you may want sudo's -H flag.

Finally, after I visit the site when the script finished, I am getting following error from browser.

The directory '/home/bitneni/.cache/pip' or its parent directory is not owned by the current user and caching wheels has been disabled. check the permissions and owner of that directory. If executing pip with sudo, you may want sudo's -H flag.

    Try:

    ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED

Is there a latest install guide to follow? Any suggestions on how get this running with latest build?
