Suhosin installed on shared webhost but installer throws whitelist error

    hi

    i'm trying to install Newscoop on my shared webhosting account. the admins tell me that php.ini already has the phar setting for suhosin whitelist; i don't have access to that php.ini. my webhost provides a separate php.ini that is limited and in which i can only select yes/no but not add in my own setting.

    is it not possible to allow installation to continue ? this is holding my installation back.

    please help
