Installation error

Hi, i have the next problem in the installation of newscoop, V 4.2.4In the step "database settings", after enter user and password of the database, my site keep working for a few minutes, and finally show a "http error 500".Im gonna apreciate any help.

Fresh instalatio or upgrade?
Blank admin page or frontend?
In case of fresh instalation try:
1. drop and create newscoop database and repeat install
2. if the problem persists, try
- drop and create newscoop database
- import database Tables structure from /newscoop/install/Resources/sql/campsite_core.sql
- repeat install
