I'm trying to configure Airtime for a community LPFM radio station. I would like Airtime to stream to the computer's analog output, not to Icecast or SHOUTcast. I can't find any documentation on how to do that, and Airtime's stream settings don't include an option for analog output.

Is the "secret" that you need a separate (second) sound card to output the audio stream?
The manual says it uses the default sound card: "At the top left of the Stream Settings page are global settings including Hardware Audio Output, which enables playout from the default sound card on the server, if one is fitted." But I haven't been able to get that to work.
