Friends please help me ..

I already did everything I found here in the forum, but nothing worked.

following

I already installed the superdesck on the nginx web server, but when I call localhost: 8080

I am always directed to the nginx login page AND NOT FOR DUPERDESCK as I wish ..

How do I fix this problem?

Have you tried:

curl https://raw.githubusercontent.com/naspeh-sf/deploy/master/files/superdesk.sh | sudo sh

on fresh Ubuntu 16.04?

If yes, please post the log of this command.

Friend still did not work, I ran the script as you requested, but when I call localhost: 8080 only shows the nginx presentation page

Where is (what folder) the command log for me to send to you

when you run this command you should see output in the console, this output I need.

Friend I'm using ubuntu 16.04, how do I capture the information that exits on the console .. because it seems to me that it does not write this log.

Please see if it serves the attached file, pay attention to the last lines where the last installation is on 2016-12-16

Pedro, it's not simple task to install and maintenance the superdesk, I don't see a lot of stuff which should be in this log and it's strange, couse it mixed with other stuff too, I need just *clean* output of this command I posted you before, If you can't do this, I can't help you. Sorry.

so you should be able to see localhost (port 80, not 8080)

FYI: it should be at least 2GB Ram

The end of output should ends with something

++ systemctl enable nginx

nginx.service is not a native service, redirecting to systemd-sysv-install

Executing /lib/systemd/systemd-sysv-install enable nginx

++ systemctl restart nginx

++ apt-get -y clean

you don't need port 8080, just http://localhost %)

Sorry I missed thie error from log file:

> Job for nginx.service failed because the control process exited with error code. See "systemctl status nginx.service" and "journalctl -xe" for details.

so nginx seems have trouble with restart

please try:

systemctl status nginx.service

journalctl -xe

Friends until finally I did, I did the following

1) I uninstalled apache2

2) I have pointed all the settings to port 80

Oh it worked, thank God.

I ask only one more favor

I have two more machines to install Superdesck

You could send me a link ON WHAT POSSIBILITE

A) Install nginx

B) Install Superdesck, all in one link Is it possible?

for clean Ubuntu 16.04 server edition, there is no apache installed, so if you have apache you should disable it or uninstall it how you did before. After this one command, I posted before will install nginx with superdesk for you.

I have a folder on a server with thousands of photos and images in it, how do I in Superdesck to import those images into Superdesk?

I just created a user but I did not receive the configuration email yet and my user continues with the status of "pending", is this normal?

Script is not istalling email server, so you should install it by your self, or change settings in /opt/superdesk/envfile

There are settings like:

MAIL_PORT=25

MAIL_USERNAME=

MAIL_USE_SSL=False

MAIL_PASSWORD=

MAIL_SERVER=localhost

MAIL_FROM=

MAIL_USE_TLS=False

you need setup SMTP server and fill them properly...
