Airtime Media Monitor will not start
  • I was running 2.5.1 and tried upgrading to 2.5.2. Everything seemed to go well except at the end, I get the following:
Check that the airtime-media-monitor service is installed correctly in /etc/init,
and ensure that it's running with

    initctl list | grep airtime-media-monitor

If not, try running sudo service airtime-media-monitor start

I am running Debian 7 and tried to run the command as it states in command line but tells me initctl: command not found. I am not sure what else to try. From what I've been reading in the forums, I may just need to go back to my original version I started with before trying to upgrade. The main reason for trying to upgrade is because my shows would become empty every few weeks. There would be a point where the calendar would show nothing scheduled even though most of my shows are repetitive instances.

Any suggestions?
• Yes I tried this a while back and it killed Airtime, best thing to do is stick with 2.5.1 as thats the last free version!
The community version is no longer being supported/maintained!
