Install fail on Debian jessie

    I'm trying to install the latest version of Airtime on a Debian Jessie
    machine but the tar from sourceforge and the git clone both fail with
    the airtime-media-monitor process error.

    Check that the airtime-media-monitor service is installed correctly in /etc/init,
    and ensure that it's running with

    initctl list | grep airtime-media-monitor

    If not, try running sudo service airtime-media-monitor start

    Is there a solution for this bug?

    I have had the same issue when trying the same.
    I did get most things working but found the system to be a bit unstable, sometimes things worked after a reboot sometimes not.
