I am installing Campsite on a Godaddy account. First time I tried, I managed to fix this, but then another warning came about me not setting up a publication... hen another issue came up.
"Warning: Call-time pass-by-reference has been deprecated; If you would like to pass it by reference, modify the declaration of call_user_func(). If you would like to enable call-time pass-by-reference, you can set allow_call_time_pass_reference to true in your INI file in /home/content/b/r/a/braintree75/html/template_engine/classes/CampContext.php on line 195"
As for me, I would simply fix the issue by enabling the feature in
php.ini file and that is it for now. Than I would write to campsite
developers info about it for the case they did not notice planed MySQL
change and hope, that they fix it.
Or simply use the adventure of opensource and write the patch to
CampContext.php. After it is fixed, I would send it to developers to
put it to the future releases.

"Error: The site alias 'www.yuberkis.com' was not assigned to a publication.
Please create a publication and assign it the current site alias."
How do I fix this one? I thought it would be through the administation menu,
but I cannot seem to access it without setting up a publication?

Miguel

Log in to http//your.domain/admin/
user is "admin" and the password is the one you set at installation time.
once there, go to Content -> Publications in the main menu
create a new publication and set the alias to your domain (url you are
gonna use to access the site)
hope this helps.

For some reason, I cannot access the admin's page. I have done exactly as
told, and reviewed the installation on a Godaddy shared hosting account. I
am not sure why it's happening. Holman, I do not mind giving you access for
you to verify what I am telling you. Perhaps I need to chage hosts?
Miguel
P.S. I have looked into this CMS not for news/magazine publishing- and
beyond because of it's multilingual functionality I found it quite
appealing.
