Hello everyone,
I'm runing a website on campsite 2.7.0-rc5, and since the upgrade from 2.6 version I cannot add staff users nor new subscribers, when I try, i get error message : The user account could not be created. It was suggested that I should empty phorum_users table, and sunc campsite and forum users, but that didnt seem to do anything. Any ideas?
Your database may be corrupted, could you please send me your database dump
file?

Can you share your findings? I have the exact same problem. However, I did not try to empty the phorum_users tables and sync the campsite and phorum users table. My campsite user table has more records than the phorum user table. At the moment, I can create subscription users from the Actions menu but not from the Users menu or website. Below is my thread from our last ping on 6/04/08:
How did you try to create the user account? From the site (through templates) or through the admin interface?
Most probably the database was corrupted for some reason and you may need to delete the user that was created partially manually from the users table.
Received an error message "Cannot add user account" while attempting to save a user account. So I restart the template engine now a cannot access the User -> Subscriber submenu. I receive the following error message:
Fedora 8:Campsite:2.7.0-rc5:User.php:260
Software: Campsite
Error Message: Undefined offset: 0
Error Number: 8
Time: Mon, 02 Jun 2008 03:58:32 -0400
Backtrace: camp_report_bug() called at
User::fetch() called at
User::User() called at
require_once() called at
I have not made any changes in while so I not sure where to start troubleshoot. Any ideas how I can resolve this problem.
The other submenus under User work just fine (Staff, Staff User Types)

I have same problem, also on Campsite 2.7.0-rc5. This SQL script solved this problem only temporary, in my case. After running the script i could create few new subscribers and users, and several minutes latter messages "The user account could not be created", and "There was an error when trying to update the user info" started to appear again.
Biggest problem is that some of the users and subscribers were deleted after script execution, some only from LiveUsers table, some from both LiveUser and Users tables. Good that I have a db dump, but i'm afraid that restoring database, and running the script again will not solve the problem, cause i tried that twice...
