Blank Page After DB Credentials

    Hello,

    Have started an install of 4.2.4 and am receiving a blank page after entering the database credentials.

    Apache indicates a couple of PHP warnings, but no errors. The following however is visible when stracing the install process:

    10:25:31 write(7, "[29-Oct-2014 17:25:31 UTC] PHP Fatal error:  Uncaught exception 'PDOException' with message 'SQLSTATE[HY000] [1045] Access denied for user ''@'localhost' (using password: NO)'

    DB Credentials are provided in the installation steps, and are not required in CLI. This is a cPanel server with PHP 5.4. (have also tried 5.3).
