Problem With Authors (creates new authors on save)

    Hi, 

    I'm dealing with an error on newscoop that's driving me crazy...

    On my instalation I have 3 authors roles: Press release, Redactor, Photo
    I have one user assigned to Redactor, Photo with profile completed.

    On every article I create I try to assign this user as Redactor or Photo and the system creates a new one with the data I imput on the article Atuhors field.

    It doesn't mind I write  "name surname" "name" "surname" "surname name" "alias" it always create a new user.

    I know I'm doing something wrong but I can't find where the mistake is...

    Any clue?
