    We had previously prepared a 4.2.2 release, but found a critical bug, so we quickly bundled the fix into this new maintenance release. This update is strongly recommended due to the severity of the bug fixes.

    Version 4.2.3 sees the inclusion of a new administration interface localization contributed by our Hungarian-speaking friend, Zsolt Magyar. It also includes improvements to the Arabic localization, thanks to our partners at Al Taghyeer and translators Cullen Reddy and Mohamed Essam. Thank you very much to our community members for contributing their help to this!

    As well here is a list of important bug-fixes included in 4.2.3:

    • Searching the Media Archive in the Article Edit screen
    • Image rich text captions
    • The image uploading process
    • Updates to the backup utility 
    • Author templating to external URL
    • Server related updates
