Add Media function not working Ubuntu 14.03, Airtime 2.5.1 - Airtime Support Discussions on Sourcefabric Forum

I have 2 airtime servers running on Ubuntu 14.04, vps environment.

I had a couple issues along the way but nothing that couldn't be fixed with a few google searches.

They appeared to be working great, until I went to use the "Add Media" feature. I cannot add any content.

From what I found, something about 14.04 using PHP 5.5 and Airtime 2.5 not supporting it.

Anyone know a way I can fix the "Add Media" function before 2.6 comes out?

Normally you can't
php 5.5 is not compatible (you have cache problems too), apache have not the same rules, etc
the 2.5.2 or 2.5.3 will be available for 14.04 later this spring :D

Thanks for the comment and the info about updates Albert.

I find the isn't much normalcy when it comes to technology these days. I can't be the only one making it happen.

I am trying to reach out to other who are doing the same and might have figure out ways to make it work.

is there any news on the release date for the Airtime 2.5.2 ?

normally airtime 2.5.1-3 is compatible, but seems to be have installation problems... (on trusty)
