we're using campsite 2.0.12 and now the problem appears that articles don't get ranked and you can't find them in search engines.
if there's a way of making that possible it would be very nice to let me know!

are there any problems with campsite and search engines?

Did you make some configuration changes in campsite? Did you reinstall
campsite? Please verify if the indexing engine (/usr/local/campsite/gather)
runs twice a day (should be scheduled in cron).

what happens if the indexing engine doesn't run? would that make any difference for the ranking of the metamute site?

Hi

It would be good to know what difference running the two times a day index makes to search engine ranking.

Also how do we setup the robot.txt file for search engines. Could the Campsite support team please provide some documentation of this issue in the FAQ, as not only would it help your current users but it would also encurage new users to take up the software.
