Structuring site content with issue as section

    In my site, I need to have sections and sub-sections,  can I use the issues as sections and then use sections as sub-sections? Is this a practical use? do you encourage to use it this way?

    Maria, there's a whole chapter about this in the Newscoop Cookbook at:

    You could be waiting until Christmas for anyone from Sourcefabric to answer your question since they're all too busy developing version 4.3 and it doesn't seem to matter that 4.2 still has problems - I asked if there was workaround for a bug with the new plugins installer yesterday and haven't received a reply!

    Hi Maria, 

    to answer your question: the issues are not designed to work as a replacement for sections. Therefore I would not recommend to use them as sections, as the sections work differently in a publication as the issues.

    Using Issues as sections is already mentioned in the cookbook as Said said.
    I think it can be a huge benefit if we don't have regular issues.
