Japanese Translation for airtime. - Airtime Development Discussions on Sourcefabric Forum

Trying to understand the limitations of translating languages for airtime. I know some languages are RTL and other applications i work with have troubles.

I see one major resource file for translations...

Can someone help me understand if Japanese is possible, what it would take if i had all the translations, and what obstacles this language might have in being added to airtime.

yes, japanese is possible with utf-8 in Kanji and Hankaku or Romanj

Hi Stephen, I would recommend that the translator starts by getting familiar with Airtime, if they are not already - this should make the process much easier. There is the English user manual at http://sourcefabric.booktype.pro/airtime-25-for-broadcasters/ with the sections 'The System menu' and 'The main menus' being the most useful reference for translators.
