Is there a way to create an article programmatically?

    I am using latest Newscoop and i am wondering if there's a way to create an article programmatically. Can you give me an example?

    Question 2: Is there an article publish hook, similar to wordpress one, that can be executed on article publish event?

    Hi, Nalyk.
    About first question: when I was looking for way to the import big archive (37k articles) I was advised to create custom script with same logic as add.php placed in admin-files/articles/. You can look steps in this file, but can't call or include it directly.
    Another way to the importing articles this is XML. But this way is semi automatic. You need export articles to xml and upload their via adminpanel. Publication, section and issue are selected before uploading.
